Dear Editor,
I am glad that I do not live in South Dakota.You have some of the strictest anti-abortion laws in the country. Your representatives ignore the will of the residents of your state. Here in New York State our representatives respect women and allow them to make their own reproductive choices. We do not have religious fanatics running our state government. I am proud that New York was the first state to legalize abortion. The Supreme Court wisely followed New York's lead. I guess they don't believe in religious freedom in your state. I feel sorry for all the women of South Dakota .Pro-lifers don't care about the woman's life.It is heartless and cruel to force any woman to carry a child against her will. God Bless New York State for being so civilized.
