Has anyone done the maths????

in March  it was reported that there are probably 947,000 illegal immigrants in UK.

these people are not entitled to benefits, and so they will find jobs, doing anything anywhere, and the fact that Baroness Scotland managed to employ an illegal immigrant without knowing it, seems to emphasize the fact that it is very easy.

Illegal immigrants, will not have an NHI number, nor will they be paying tax, so this is an enormous loss to the government coffers.

from the payout point of view, in July 2008 there were just over 810,000 claiming Jobs Seekers, with 1.62m unemployed. If you include all the families who get child benefits, disability allowance etc. that could be a large number of people on benefits.  These   people aren't paying into the system either but they're being paid out of the system.

does anyone beside me realize that this can't go on?  there is not an endless supply of money, and when the scandal of MP's taking cuts out of the coffers, billions going to overseas aid, or to boost the failing banks - our country must be on the verge of bankruptcy.
